Claire's sponsored walk on Snowdon raised £476.00 for the day care centre. Many thanks to all who sponsored Claire.
Staff and volunteers collected £248.10 at Morrisons, Lawley.
£688.84 was raised at the Spring Fayre.
Upcoming Events:
Friday 28 June and Saturday 29 June, we will be having a fundraising collection at Morrisons in Wellington.
Sunday 30 June, we will have a stall at the Hadley Village Green Fun Day. See you all there!
The next Mayor of Telford & Wrekin Council, Councillor Leon Murray, has chosen the Wellington Cottage Care Trust to be one of the Mayor's Charities during 2013/14.
Councillor Murray, a member of Wellington Methodist Church, has been a supporter of our Day Care Centre from its earliest days.
Keeping you up to date
Thanks to grants from various generous organisations, we have been able to purchase an Arjo Malibu bath. This will make the bathing experience much more comfortable for our guests and the carers who assist them.
The fully automated bath seat lifts guests into the bath.
The height of the bath can be adjusted.
